Our Founder.
Big Moves, Inc. was founded by Monica Helton in 2018 with a heartfelt mission to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently and thrive within their communities. What began as a personal calling quickly grew into a trusted Supported Living Services agency serving families throughout San Diego. Guided by her deep compassion and professional background in social services, Monica built Big Moves on the core values of respect, integrity, inclusivity, and genuine care. Today, she continues to lead with purpose — ensuring every individual served is supported, encouraged, and treated like family.
